Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, located in southwestern Uganda, is a 327 km² UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for protecting nearly half of the world’s endangered mountain gorillas (approx. 459 individuals). Dating back over 25,000 years, this ancient, biodiverse rainforest offers premier gorilla trekking, hosting over 120 mammal species, 350 bird species, and diverse flora.
